The Bristol Hippodrome is in the town centre of Bristol making it easy to access, with plenty of parking, as it is surrounded by the night life of Bristol.
The theatre has all of its original features, with beautiful red and gold decor and boasts a beautiful piano bar for pre-show drinks. The box office for collection of your tickets is located next door to the theatre and is clearly signposted.
The staff were very approachable and friendly and gave excellent directions to our seats. The other theatre goers also seemed very happy with the level of service provided.
The Burlesque show itself was a fun packed show featuring singing, dancing, light hearted slapstick comedy, fire eating and even a magician! There were plenty of laughs to be had and there was a lot of audience participation.
The dancers wow you with their elegant performance and professionalism, but be prepared for nudity and a lot of tassel shaking.
An Evening of Burlesque is a unique show which entertained the whole audience and in my opinion is a show not to be missed.
I felt that our showing was particularly good as the main comparè, Coco Duboit, revealed that Bristol is her home town and even became emotional during one of her songs.
I had a fantastic evening.
