Today I received the nicest-smelling post I have ever received!! On opening the outer box, I found a Green People Organics Lifestyle, Alexandra Kay, Time to relax, Aroma bracelet.
The Alexandra Kay, Time to relax, Aroma bracelet Gift set comes in a nicely presented white gift box with a flourish of green. The box lid is nicely printed with the contents of the box and a golden monogram of Alexander Kay. The colour green is continued inside the box, with step-by-step instructions on how to use the oil and bracelet printed inside. There is also a video on their website demonstrating how to make the most out of the bracelet.
Inside the box is a 10ml bottle of relaxing aroma oil; the packaging of the oil mimics the outer packaging. Along with a lava stone bracelet.
The aroma oil is a blend of ‘10 natural oils’, including patchouli, lavender, lemongrass and ylang-ylang. I can mainly smell the lemongrass and patchouli; it does smell really nice. As with any products please read the instructions and ingredients before use. We use oil diffusers at home, so I popped a few drops in before bed, and it was the best night’s sleep we’ve had in a long time. The aroma of the oil is definitely relaxing.
The bracelet consists of 15 lava stone beads and 9 colourful glass beads, on an elasticated band. My daughter and I both tried it on, as I have slightly larger wrist than my daughter; however, it fit nicely on both of us. ‘The lava beads are porous, so they hold the aroma from the oil.
Before you wear the bracelet, you should put a couple of drops of the oil on to the lava beads, wait a couple of minutes, then wear the bracelet, and your natural body heat will help the aroma to disperse (taken from their instructions). It does work, and the lava beads hold the aroma for quite a long time. I only used a couple of drops, and I could still smell the aroma four hours later. It probably depends on your own body heat on how long the aroma lasts. The bracelet was comfortable and did not irritate my skin.
I like the Green People Organic Lifestyle company, as they are very aware of the planet and its resources. Everything is recyclable, they only use organic ingredients, and they are certified vegan, organic, and ethanol-free. Their products are also Gluten-free and made in the United Kingdom. These are things that I look for when purchasing products for myself or buying gifts for friends and family.
The blend of oils is really nice and calming, and the bracelet is comfortable. As I said, you do not need much oil, so the 10ml bottle should last quite a while. It is a nice way to relax and unwind, as it is a bracelet, it is easy to travel with.
The Aroma bracelet Gift set would make a lovely gift for anyone who has a busy, stressful lifestyle or enjoys the calmness of a yoga session. With Mother’s Day around the corner, it would make a really thoughtful gift for your loved ones. It would also make a nice alternative Easter gift or just a really nice birthday gift.
