I had the pleasure of attending the Together Again – The Live Tour at the Poole Lighthouse on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience. As a fan of both Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice from their Strictly Come Dancing days, I was thrilled to see them bring their talents to the live stage. The chemistry between the two was palpable, and their genuine friendship shone through in every aspect of the show.

The evening was a masterclass in entertainment, blending dance, chat, and adlibbing in a way that had the audience in stitches. Anton and Giovanni’s comical edge added a layer of humour to the performances, making it an enjoyable experience for all ages. The dancing was phenomenal, with breath-taking routines, stunning choreography, and a seamless blend of Ballroom, Latin, and Musical Theatre.

The supporting cast of dancers was spectacular, bringing high energy to the stage and elevating the show to new heights. Their performances were captivating, and it was clear that they were an integral part of the show’s success.

One notable aspect of the evening was the interaction between Anton and Giovanni and the audience. They engaged with the crowd brilliantly, making it feel like a personal show for each attendee. The auditorium was packed with people of all ages, and the energy in the room was electric. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, dancing in their seats and tapping their toes to the beat.

Our seats were excellent, offering a clear view of the stage without any obstruction. The seats themselves were comfortable, which is not always the case in theatres. The Lighthouse venue was an ideal setting for the show, with its traditional theatre charm and convenient location in the centre of Poole.

The show started at 5 pm, which was a great time for a Sunday evening performance. It allowed us to enjoy the show without feeling rushed or worrying about getting home too late. The interval was slightly longer than anticipated, but the staff kept us informed, and the wait was worth it.

The Lighthouse is located at 21 Kingland Road, Poole, Dorset, BH15 1UG, and it’s easily accessible by car, train, or bus. The venue has a handy car park just across the road and is within walking distance of Poole train and bus station. We took advantage of the Beacon Café and Bar before the show, enjoying a pre-show drink and taking in the atmosphere.

Tickets for the show were priced from £48 to £61. Given the quality of the performance and the venue, it was money well spent.

In conclusion, the Together Again – The Live Tour was an enthralling experience that showcased the incredible talents of Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice. Their chemistry, comical edge, and dancing prowess made for a night to remember. If you’re a fan of dance, comedy, or just great entertainment, this show is not to be missed.
