‘Staying In In Is The New Going Out Out’

After the events of the last year this is absolutely true. Like most families we have had to substitute family trips to the cinema for movie nights in. The Ultimate Movie Night In experience box contains everything and more you will need. Food, drink and a movie voucher all delivered in a box to your door.

The box it all arrived in was awesome and the kids could not wait to open it to see what was inside. Inside in a reusable recycled cotton tote bag were:
Sharer box of popcorn (sweet and salted)
4 x Gunna soft drinks
2 x Pretzel Thins
2 x Well & Truly Snacks
Puffed cream-filled rolls
2 x Cheesies
1kg box of Pick ‘n’ Mix sweets
All the products were high quality, not items you would just pick up at the supermarket. It was obvious a lot of thought had been put into sourcing these products. I had never tasted any of these products before and really enjoyed trying new things. The Cheesies were so good. Some of the Gunna drink flavours were not something I normally would have chosen, like Cola & Ginger or Lemonade with a hint of mint, but I was pleasantly surprised how nice they were. Even as a family of five there was plenty for everyone to snack on whilst watching the movie and something for everyone with both sweet and savoury choices. The highlight was unquestionably the huge 1kg box of pick ‘n’ mix from Sweetie Pie. It had so much variety in it from gummy, fizzy and chocolate sweets that the kids eyes literally lit up when they saw it. It came in a beautifully presented sweetie box that even had handles to carry it around. It was so huge it lasted for days even though the kids had a good try at eating it all on movie night! The sweet boxes are available in either rainbow mix or veggie mix.

Inside the popcorn box was a Rakuten TV movie ticket worth £4.99 which can be redeemed using the code printed on it. Rakuten TV can only be used on certain devices. You can check what devices are compatible on their website. We downloaded the Rakuten TV app on our Xbox One and chose a movie we wanted to watch. We set up a Rakuten TV account which was simple to do but could not figure out how to redeem the voucher. After some googling we discovered that we could not redeem the voucher on the app. Need to redeem it using Ratuken TV through their website. We opened up Rakuten TV on our internet browser, logged in with the account we had set up and were easily able to redeem the voucher that way. It then saved the movie we chose in our account library so we could go back and watch it through the app on the Xbox One. Once we knew how to redeem the voucher correctly it was quick and easy to do. Clearer instructions on how to redeem the voucher being included with the ticket would be really useful.

Once you have selected your movie all you need to do is get everyone together, get cosy and enjoy your night.

Other themed boxes of puzzle and karaoke are available on the website. These can be purchased in the standard package like we received or with wine or bubbly included.

Retailing at £25 posted for everything that was included and delivery this was great value for money. It would make an ideal gift for any occasion such as a birthday or the upcoming Fathers Day.
