Milkshake Live
King Georges Hall, Blackburn

Myself and my family went to watch Milkshake Live at King Georges Hall, Blackburn.
The theatre is situated in the Blackburn town centre and we found it with no problems and parked easily. There are lots of cafes and bars in the surrounding area if you wanted to eat or drink before or after the show.
We were seated on the balcony – be warned there are lots and I mean lots of flights of stairs but for those who do not want to use the stairs there is a lift. We had a clear view of the stage and the seats were comfortable.
Milkshake Live features all the favourites from Channel 5’s early morning kids slot. Noddy, Fifi, Little Princess, Bananas in Pyjamas and Roary racing car along with his side kick Big Chris all made an appearance much to the delight of the younger members of the audience.
There's not much of a storyline really but that didn't seem to matter to the over excited, energetic fans who happily danced and sang along to lots of well-known songs. Two presenters and a team of dancers kept the show flowing.
The show lasts around 90 minutes with a 20 minute interval half way through, this is plenty long enough for those getting wriggly bottoms! Also it was 10 minutes late starting which was a shame as it was very hot and just made for a few stroppy little people (including my Bailey) who kept saying "where are they?"
Overall a great way to spend the afternoon with the younger members of the family. We all enjoyed it.
