MAM Bob the Turtle Teether Review
Bob the Turtle Teether
Reviewed by Katie Garrett
MAM have recently introduced a set of three teethers, they are best friends Lucy the Snail, Max the Frog and Bob the Turtle. These has been brought out to cover a wide range of ages, Lucy is suitable from just 2 months, Max 4 months and Bob 5 months. They are all BPA free and made from natural rubber making them 100% baby safe. They are all handmade making each one individual and unique in colour and size. Bob is a purple turtle and the new companion of our ten month old baby.
Our baby is currently teething, still hasn’t quite got a tooth yet but we are sure it’s very close and so is sometimes struggling with the pain which teething brings. Bob is a 3D ring shape making him easy for my son to pick up and find his own way to his mouth. He is partly hollow making him squeezy and very chewable. He has a variety of size and shaped nooks and bumps on him which my son loves to explore with his mouth. I am sure that the chewing on Bob has brought him relief from his sore gums and I’m so glad we have had Bob to try out as it has helped him a lot.
He is a great sized toy in that he’s not too big that he finds it hard to carry him around and not too small that he is easily lost, he also fits nicely into my changing bag so can be brought along on our outings. The colour is vibrant and very unisex as are all the MAM friend’s teethers. I can see how beneficial it would be to work through them through the ages and I do wish that we’d found these sooner. I can’t see this being a toy which is outgrown quickly as he is great as a toy turtle and my elder two children (3 and 5) have played with him as part of their imaginative play.
Priced at £9.99 I find this a good value quality teether definitely worthy of the price tag, I’d happily recommend to family or friends. He has become a firm favourite in this house.
