My first impression of this cake was its size – it was larger than I expected it to be & very deep. The top was decorated with meringue which had 3 lemon flowers at the centre. The side of the cake was covered in white chocolate shavings.
The top and bottom were sandwiched together with a lemon filling. The cake was very moist and the lemon filling came through.
The meringue topping, combined with the white chocolate shavings round the side were sweet and a complete contrast to the lemon filling.
A great sweet cake for people with a sweet tooth and large enough for the whole family to enjoy this Easter.
