Natures Way for Pets ZooLac ProPaste Review
ZooLac ProPaste

ZooLac ProPaste is labelled as the best probiotic on the market for pets, containing a high content of probiotics for stabilising the digestion and balancing the bacterial flora in the intestinal tract. I was keen to review this product as my dog, Morley, gets particularly stressed when we travel in the car for long distances. We were planning on a trip to France a week ago so I followed the instructions given for this kind of treatment. It’s unique formula works by preventing harmful bacteria from attacking the intestinal wall, while the good bacteria attack the harmful ones. In Morley’s case we were advised to start him on this product 5 days before we were due to travel, continue to give him his dose during our stay and then for 3 to 5 days after we returned. I can safely say that Morley was a happier pooch on the journey, during the stay and particularly when we returned home as his visits to the garden were more consistent with a happy pooch.
Morley is 12kg in weight so we administered the advised dosage which was easy to do with the tube syringe provided. You just turn the indicator to administer the correct amount, it won’t let you overdose the dog but if you managed to do this by accident it won’t harm your dog at all as it is a completely natural product.
The ProPaste can be given to your dog when improvement in the digestion is needed, it can be used to combat the effects stress and feed changes might have on the intestinal flora and can be used as a supplement when your dog is suffering from diarrhoea. What I thought most useful was that it can be used to restoring the intestinal balance after or during anti-biotic treatment. Morley has had to endure a few courses of anti-biotics this year for various reasons which has also caused him to have digestive issues and the stress from travelling might have compounded it – however, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that ZooLac ProPaste kept his intestinal flora balanced and therefore meant I have a happy dog.
The packaging is simple and user-friendly, the syringe is effectively the packaging. I would recommend this product as a supplement for your dog if they suffer from intestinal or digestive issues.
Morley is a much happier pooch, and so am I.
