These Fish Skin Flatties from Skipper’s were very well packaged, I even thought the packaging was thick enough to hide the very fishy smell until I opened the bag and the dogs went berserk.
The Flatties are just as they’re described, flat pieces of fish skin, dried and cut into roughly 10cm lengths. Perfect for a treat to keep your furry friends occupied for a while. They’re great for teeth and gum health, skin conditions and joint mobility as they’re 100% natural fish product. Wheat and gluten free, high in protein and hypoallergenic, perfect for pets who love natural treats.
My puppy in particular was quiet for at least 20 minutes while she ate hers – this is virtually unheard of as she’s always on the go. The older one looked at his, guarded it, circled it and then proceeded to devour it. I can safely say they both absolutely loved these Fish Skin Flatties. I’d recommend these to all my doggie friends as they’re reasonably priced and come packaged very well. Although the fishy smell lingered around the house for a few hours, it’s nothing an air freshener can’t sort out and at least my fur babies were happy and entertained for a little while.
Almost perfect apart from the smell.
