Will Young Review

It's hard to believe that in December 2011, Will Young reaches his 10th anniversary in winning Pop Idol. Personable and charming, Will was absolutely fantastic, his performance was energetic, wowing the crowd with his sublime voice.
Young is helped by a talented backing band of drums, guitars and keyboards, along with a sensational set of female singers. He sang his classic hits: Anything is Possible, Light My Fire, You and I, Friday’s Child and Leave Right Now. For me, he is one of the best male vocalists out today. He just evoked emotion with a melancholic cover of Kate Bush’s Running Up The Hill.
A natural comedian, Will banters happily with the crowd and we are then cleverly introduced to the band in song. Young using a made-up rhyme for each member to the tune ‘Hit The Road Jack’ and had the crowd roaring with laughter.
Finishing the show with big hit Jealousy, Young gave the audience a great performance before heading off to perform at Children In Need.
I predict that this Pop Idol will continue to be a success for many years to come.
