I am a big fan of Wibbly Pig! We have several hardback books of the piggy on his adventures, so I was delighted to review this product.

This is a lovely soft hand puppet that's very well made (I checked the stitching and quality of workmanship before giving it to my daughter!) My little girl is 16 months and she loves it! She squeals in delight when I pretend that the hand puppet is going to kiss or tickle her and loves trying to imitate the "oink" noises that I make. It has floppy ears that she stokes across her face for comfort and likes to touch his nose and eyes. The pig is padded and fits easily onto my hand and I am able to easily show when the pig is happy, sad, shy, etc…! She finds this great fun when reading the books together as well as using the hand puppet too.

The care instructions say that the product is surface washable. However my daughter tried to feed the pig some chocolate and I put it in the wash on a normal setting of 40 degrees and it came out completely clean and looking like new again. I allowed it to dry naturally on top of the radiator. This is a lovely little item that would be great for new-borns and preschool children. It helps with sounds of the farm and displaying reactions and feelings. It is a very interactive idea that allows parent and child to have fun in a make believe way!

I love it and so does my daughter!
