Well I have to say the whole family was looking forward to this big family day out. We thought as we had so much to fit in we would make a plan to what we would see first and thereafter. When we arrived in Blackpool I have to say the weather let us down again, strong winds and rain but that didn't dampen our spirits. The parking was just behind Sea Life so we were close to all attractions and only cost a small amount to park for the day.

Our first stop was Blackpool Tower, after picking The BIG Ticket up and skipping the queue which my girls thought was very funny yet a bit naughty. Our ticket gave us admission to 7 amazing attractions for 1 great price. Our first stop was the 4D cinema, with no queues we walked straight in. We were given 4D glasses and directed to our standing places . The special effects were great from the wind and rain to smells, snow and the ground moving I have to say, I think I enjoyed that bit more than the kids. As we entered the lift my youngest daughter of 5 did shed a tear as we got higher up the tower as the lift shows the view of Blackpool out of the see though sides of the lift. When she realised she wasn't going to step out to nothing she soon started to enjoy herself. The spectacular glass-floored sky walk although very scary to look down gave a great experience but due to the bad weather conditions we were not allowed up to the very top of the Tower.

Next stop Mooky's Circus, after waiting to be let in we got told we could sit anywhere and that there was refreshments and souvenirs to be bought while waiting for the show to start. Everyone was very excited and couldn't wait for the show to start, although the kids were very restless and after eating candy floss and having their face painted as Mooky the clown I think a 1hr 15min wait was a long time to be seated as we all know kids, they can’t keep still at the best of times. When the show finally started the stars of the show Mooky and Mr Boo were definitely very funny and everyone loved them and the acrobats were amazing!

After the show it was time for lunch so we made our way back to the car as we decided to take a packed lunch but there was plenty of places to eat if you wanted something hot ranging from £3.95 for and adult and a £1 for every child.

After lunch we visited Sea Life which we all enjoyed and found the staff very helpful as it can get a bit confusing finding your way around as it does get very busy in there. The girls got to get close to lots of things like sting rays, star fish baby sharks and turtles and found out lots of useful information about how dropping litter affects the beaches and the sea the fish live in.

After this we went to Jungle Jim's in Blackpool Tower. It was very busy in fact there was nowhere to sit and we thought although we had been booked in for a certain time it made no difference! The children had looked forward to this bit all day as they love ball pools but it was that full it even spoilt it for them. We only stayed 20 minutes and they were asking to move on.

It was coats on and off to Madame Tussaud’s which if I’m totally honest wasn't really looking forward to, I mean how interesting can it be looking at mannequins? FANTASTIC! They made it feel so real from the settings to the stars I even felt a bit star struck myself. The girls got to take lots of photographs and thought it was great to meet Simon Cowell and Ant and Dec and even whizzed round the mirror room faster than me and glen. I have to say I would really recommend going to see them and it’s great for all ages too.

Unfortunately we didn't have enough time in the day to see Blackpool Tower Ballroom or The Blackpool Tower Dungeon but we have kept our ticket and plan to go back and see them shortly as our ticket is valid for just over 12 months which is fantastic and well worth the money!

To top our fun packed day off we even got to see Blackpool lights and we drove home.
