TOG24 Clothing Review

TOG24 is a clothing company based in the Spen Valley in West Yorkshire. The company is family owned and was founded in 1958. All of TOG24’s clothing is designed in the UK and they focus on producing high quality and value for money goods. Fun fact (which I didn’t know previously) is that TOG stands for “Truth Over Glory Everyday” and their focus is on everyday outdoor activities and clothing that can be worn by everyone.

I was very happy to be asked to review a couple of items from the TOG24 Women’s collection, especially as we are heading into spring so it’s nearly time to ditch the thick winter clothes and start to wear something lighter.

The first item I was sent was a Hattie Women’s Jumpsuit, this usually retails for £50.00. Looking at the pictures on the website the jumpsuit looked like it would be very flattering, and ideal for warmer summer weather. There are two different colour choices available and I was sent a dark indigo floral one (the other option being magenta pink abstract floral), it is navy blue with a white floral pattern. The jumpsuit is lovely and soft, it’s made from jersey material (96% viscose, 4% elastane) which has a nice weight to it and feels good quality. It is very easy to put on, it’s stretchy and has an elasticated waist and wide legs. The top half is sleeveless with a scooped neckline. Another unexpected bonus is that it has pockets which always come in handy. I ordered a size 12 and I would say the jumpsuit is fairly generously sized. It is so comfortable to wear and looks really flattering on. It could be styled up for an evening out, or worn casually. I can’t wait to wear it on my summer holidays!

The second item I was sent was a Craven Women’s Waterproof Packaway Jacket, this usually retails at £85.00. Looking at the website there are 12 different colour options to choose from and I was sent a Faded Pink Dalmation Spot one. It is a lovely pale dusky pink colour with darker spots and looks really lovely. I personally think the colour looks nicer in real life than on the website and my photos certainly don’t do it justice.

The jacket is very lightweight and comes with a separate mesh bag, with elastic and drawstring to pack it away into. This was very easy to do and it fitted well (it does look a bit creased after being in the bag). The jacket is made from waterproof fabric, has fully taped seams and also has a water-repellent coating. It is also fully lined with mesh which will be great to stop the fabric sticking if you get hot. The hood is generously sized, it has a drawstring so it can be adjusted which is great as it means it will stay up if it’s a bit windy (something that I do struggle with on some of my other coats). There is also a drawstring around the bottom of the coat so that it can be tightened if needed. The jacket has a full-length zip on the front, and also has two generously sized zipped pockets. It looks lovely and feminine and I really like the design. Another bonus is that it’s also machine washable and workmanship is guaranteed for one year.

I ordered a size 12 (the same size as the jumpsuit) and unfortunately found that the jacket doesn’t quite fit me which is such a shame as I really want to wear it. I would suggest maybe ordering up a size to ensure it fits. This is unexpected as the size 12 jumpsuit is very generously sized and fits me well with room to spare and all my coats from other brands are size 12!

I would recommend both of these items to complement your summer wardrobe. They are both great quality and very feminine. I will definitely be checking out TOG24 clothes in the future.
