Encouraged by my mother, ever since I was a teenager I have used good quality skin care and often struggle to find the good quality ones in a travel size. Good quality products are even more important when on holiday where your skin can be subjected to more extreme weather conditions and constant heating or air conditioning. The atmosphere on an aeroplane is especially drying.
I particularly liked this kit as it has two weeks worth of product, taking the guess work out of how much you will need to take with you for two weeks holiday, something that I never seem to be able to judge accurately. You don’t want to take all your full sized products as they weigh so heavy in your luggage, neither do you want to run out and have to search the local shops in a foreign country for something you recognise. This kit would also be a good way for you to try a selection of the products for the first time.

The set that I received to review is the “hydrating solution mini set “. It contains 50ml hydrating mousse cleanser, 50ml hydrating smoothing toner and 15g hydrating gel cream all packed in small cardboard box.
Suitable for all skin types, the products are registered with the vegan society, do not contain any animal derived ingredients and are not tested on animals. They are free from mineral oil, parabens and phthalates.
The cleanser is in a pump dispenser and is an amazingly light fluffy foam. It glides easily over the skin and is easy to rinse off . The active ingredients are white chia seed to nourish and protect the skin ( this ingredient is in all the products I tried), shiso perille to soothe the skin and amino acids to mildly cleanse the skin.
The toner is an almost clear water like liquid. It is easy to apply and was absorbed into my skin quickly. In addition to white chia seed the toner also includes liquorice root extract to calm the skin and prebiotics to balance the skin.
The gel cream is in a small tube. It glided smoothly over my skin with no dragging and was absorbed quickly leaving a matt finish. It contains blue agave to hydrate the skin, rice protein to prevent damage and protect against signs of ageing, and of course white chia seed.
After using all three products my skin felt super clean and hydrated, so velvety I couldn’t stop stroking it.
All I need to do now is go on two weeks holiday to see if the set really does last for two weeks, it’s a tough job but I’m willing to do it.
RRP and Buy Link: Available from Amway.co.uk here the kit is priced at £55.35 or £48.70 to registered customers. All the products in the kit are also available in larger sizes. It is a bit pricey but it contains some very good ingredients.
