The Facebook Killer is a murder novel in three parts about a man who loses his family and takes revenge in Hannibal Lecter-style.
The Facebook Killer Part Two sees serial killer Dermott Madison travel to Pakistan, Mexico and back to England in his search to kill the friends and family of the man who murdered his wife and daughter and escaped justice on a technicality.
Having already 11 or 12 people Dermott and Albert head to Pakistan to kill the last 5 family members. After his search and murder of 3 family members, including killing one by way of suicide, he is at loss to find the last 2 apples (apples are what Dermott calls his victims). He finds them working onboard a cruise ship that sees him travel to Mexico to finish the last kills before heading back to England to finally end his revenge.
Overall, while I didn’t find the part two as fast paced and gruesome as part one it was still and enjoyable read bringing a conclusion to Dermott’s revenge mission. Dermott’s use of social media, gangsters and killing methods make for a great story and thrilling read.
Now off to read Part Three.
