Wilton Christmas Tree Cookie Cutter Kit Review

Christmas is all about cooking and baking with my grandchildren, so I was extremely pleased to receive the Wilton Christmas Tree Cookie Cutter Kit to review. The set consists of ten robust, star shaped, plastic cutters, piping bags, nozzles and an instruction manual showing how to make and construct a gingerbread Christmas tree.

First of all we had to make a huge amount of gingerbread mixture and use the graduating cutters to make different sized stars. Once they were baked and cool, we then made the quick pour cookie icing. We cemented the stars together with the icing and built them up so that they resembled a Christmas tree. We then used sweets, stuck on with even more icing so that they looked like tree baubles. The end result looks and tastes amazing, but the best part was the amount of fun we had during this activity.

The star cutters can be hand washed after each use with warm soapy water. We will use them over and over again as biscuit cutters. As there are ten different sizes, we can make a variety of biscuits with them. They could also be used for cutting out play dough shapes.

This is a lovely, fun activity and I would recommend the Wilton Christmas Tree Cookie Cutter Kit as a great gift for anyone who loves baking with children.
