A comforter may well be one of the most important items to a baby or little child. In my own experience, even as adults we tend to think fondly of our favourite childhood comforters! The Kaloo Doudou Mouse Season Fruits comforter would be the ideal, special Christmas gift.
The French inspired Kaloo company have been making soft and gentle creations, loved by children and their parents since back in 1998. My own experience of the Kaloo brand dates back years and they have always been favourite and much loved toys in my own household. The Kaloo company’s vision is to meet children’s sensory needs and stimulation, with a deep commitment to health and safety for little ones.
Comforters tend to have tough, active lives and so good standardised safety alongside robust, high quality control is imperative and the Kaloo company products tick all the right boxes.
The delightful Doudou Mouse Season Fruits comforter is extremely well presented and so perfect as a Christmas gift to remember for a special little one. The comforter comes in a beautiful customisable FSC gift box in muted tones and could also be used as a sweet place to store the comforter later on.
The cute, little comforter mouse fits in the box perfectly and had instant appeal for my little granddaughter. When we opened the box, her eyes lit up when she was greeted by the little mouse comforter smiling back and waving at her! The pretty little mouse was ready to soothe, play and cuddle!
Uniquely made from recycled materials and stuffing from plastic bottles, the little comforter is also reassuringly 100% eco friendly. Made from exceptionally soft materials of most superior quality, the Kaloo Doudou Mouse comforter is beautifully made in a delicate cream colour, contrasting with a soft, warm yellow. Suitable from birth up and ideal for babies with sensitive skin, all Kaloo comforters are made from microfibre, cotton plush and embroidery – they are incredibly pleasant to touch!
We loved how the little cream mouse, enveloped in a square of softness is cleverly holding the square in its own little hand, seemingly also being soothed by the comforter. A very fun touch! In fact, it is the little touches which make Kaloo products stand out from the rest. The square blanket has a beautiful, sparkling fruit pattern and with great attention to detail, the mouse’s ears are also made from the same pretty print for cuteness overload!
The perfect comforter has to be the right size and easily held by its ends. The mouse’s body is as soft as velvet to touch and we found it to be the perfect size for baby to grasp and hold.
This little comforter has quickly become a favourite for my granddaughter and is taken wherever she goes! It is just as well the mouse doudou is completely washable, although we are seriously thinking about buying a second emergency one just in case!
