Ted Baker Take a Bow Mia Gift Set Review

I am a lover of sweet perfumes, and a very fussy one at that. I am very particular about what perfumes I will wear as I feel that most don’t work well with my natural body sense. I believe that you have to find the right perfumes that work well with your individual body smell, as every perfume smells different on each individual that wears the perfume.
I was offered the opportunity to try Ted Baker Mia in the form of a gift set and I was delighted as I had smelt this perfume on a friend and I loved how it smelt on her. I could not wait to receive my package so that I could try it out. It is part of the Sweet Treats collection so I was excited to see if the smell was up to my expectations.
The parcel arrived promptly and was packaged well. I opened it up to see a beautiful gift box. It was very girly and stylish and I was attracted to it instantly. The gift box is pale pink with gold embossed lettering and the trademark Ted Baker bow on the front. It has a ribbon at the side on the box, which you pull to slide out the inside of the box to reveal the perfume and mirror set. This pink and gold follows through, onto the products inside the box.
The gift contains a 50ml bottle of Ted Baker Mia Eau de Toilette and a compact mirror and case. Both are very eye catching and magnificently presented. It is described as the ‘perfect match, offering sassy, sophisticated and stylish (oh I do love a bit of alliteration!) fragrance Mia along with the dazzling compact mirror’, and I have to agree with those words. It is a divine item to receive.
Once I had admired the packaging, I set about trying out my new perfume. I did my usual spray of neck, wrists and on my top and off I went to work. I work in a predominantly male environment and sometimes I get compliments on my perfume, but I found that I have been receiving a significantly higher amount of comments regarding my scent than usual. Which made me feel great!
The fragrance of Mia is a soft floral scent of rose blossoms, freesias, with lively fruity notes of lemon, raspberry black currant and a base of patchouli and Amber.
The perfume bottle is made from 100% glass with a pretty gold lid. It kind of reminds me of something you would find in a palace it is so exquisite.
The mirror is a good size and elegantly covered in Ted Baker slip to keep it safe from scratching or breaking. It is a perfect addition to any handbag. I have added it to my work bag inner pocket as I had recently lost my previous one. I have also had many compliments regarding how pretty and cute it is.
I absolutely love how I feel when wearing the perfume. It smells sweet and youthful, which energises me. It is a stunning set, which I am proud to now own. If I was to be bought this as a Christmas gift, I would be very pleased with it. It really is a very tasteful and special treat to receive.
I believe that this is lovely gift, which would suit females aged 16-45. I am 33 and I honestly love it, as I know my sister who is 42 would too. We are very girly girls, who are into makeup and getting dressed up. Although, this would suit anyone who likes the sweet-smelling perfumes on their body. I would wear this perfume for daytime or evening, and it is an all-rounder in my opinion.
The gift set retails at £30, which I believe is a great price for this size of perfume that also comes with a mirror compact. This is the amount that my family and I spend on Christmas presents for each other, as I believe most families do too. So it comes in at a good price for a decent present.
