Parks and Recreation is back of a fourth season on DVD.

Dedicated government employee Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) is back and has been asked to run for office for a seat of the City Council of her beloved hometown of Pawnee, Indiana. She gets a new assistant in the form of shoeshine boy Andy (Chris Pratt) while she runs for office. Lady Killer Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari) has left government and is trying to run his own entertainments company, and not very well. Disinterested intern April (Aubrey Plaza) is still disinterested and their anti-government boss Ron Swanson (Nick Hofferman) is still the same, except for when he shaves off his trademark moustache.

Overall, Parks and Recreation is a funny sitcom that I am thoroughly enjoying. All the characters have their own unique traits which gel well together and make them all very funny.

I found Season 4 got off to a slow start but after the first episode or 2 soon found it’s form and the rest of the series was a delight.

Amy Poehler is excellent as usual while Rob Lowe is brilliant as the ever smiling auditor. But my favourite will always be the solemn April as her disinterest is great.
