Jane Scrivner Peace Bath and Body Splash Collection are available in four options: Peace, Revive, Balance and Detox. Each has a special blend of essential oils designed to help you achieve your goal.
I received Peace to try out, containing Frankincence from India, Myrhh from Somalia, Elemi Gum from France, Sweet Orange from Mexico along with Benzoin. Mixed with Jojoba and coconut oil. It’s quite an exotic blend with those international ingredients but it exudes calm and soothing vibes.
Jojoba is antibacterial and helps restore the skins elasticity, coconut is anti inflammatory, softening and hydrating. These are fabulous combinations to be putting on your skin, plus the act of application is massaging which is great from your sense of wellbeing and self care. In turn this is brilliant for your mental health.
Sounds like a win:win so far? Well, my best test was to apply it to my scaly elbows. Maybe this is unfair. My dragon-like elbows have been like this for around two years and nothing has helped.
But, tadaaaaa, three days of application of the Peace Bath and Body Splash has yielded a result. It’s not perfect but it is far smoother and nourished. I have the feeling that with ongoing use I might lose my scales.
Orange oil is famous for encouraging skin recovery, frankincense is reputed for reducing blood pressure, skin recovery and antiseptic properties – so these have most likely been the best for my elbows. I imagine it would be a superb product for any dry and difficult skin patches.
However, regardless of the benefits on dry areas, my skin overall feels smoother. It smells amazing when I apply it and the scent lasts some time. I was glad to find that it disappears into my skin easily and quickly so I don’t feel sticky.
Of course, the product is described as bath AND body, so you can add a little in the bath and enjoy the softening benefits and the radiating scents as you soak in warmth. A great combination for your wellbeing.
A little bit really stretches some distance with this product, it will last some time either for use in the bath or with direct application. Whilst I’ve used the Peace Bath and Body Splash every day for this review it would be used for a weekly treat and in preparation for those special moments, a date, a luxury soak and pamper, anything where you might like to feel special. Equally, I can testify it is a realistic daily product and it doesn’t take long to apply and to feel you’ve really helped your skin.
The white bottle is 150ml with a rose gold label and a pop cap which helps you measure out the oil carefully when pouring it into your hands for application. This could be a beautiful luxury gift and you’ll find complimentary products on the website Jane Scrivner | Natural organic skincare for healthy skin.
