After 10 years from the disappointing Men in Black 2 Agent J (Will Smith) and Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back for a third instalment of this popular comedy sci-fi series battling aliens and in 3D.

After Boris the Animal (Jemaine Clement) escapes from his top-security prison on the moon he goes back in time to kill the man who put him there, Agent K. Once the past has been changed Agent K no longer exists so Agent J has to also go back in time to prevent his death and save the world.

After travelling back to 1969 J meets up with his younger partner K (Josh Brolin) and together try to stop Boris the Animal. In 1969 Agent K is not so grouchy and even has a love interest , Agent O (Emma Thompson).

Overall, a very enjoyable sequel. I enjoyed in it better than the previous films and the interplay between Will Smith and Josh Brolin (the young Agent K) is excellent with Brolin doing a superb job of impersonating the Tommy Lee Jones character to the point that you could be forgiven for thinking that they were the same person. They are some good comedy moments especially when Smith goes back to 1969 America, steals a car and gets stopped by the police and Emma Thompson making some weird alien noises.
