T-Zone Peel Off Face Masks Review

Reviewed by Kelly Dewey
Every woman likes a pit of pampering and beauty treatment now and again and I recently reviewed 3 peel off face masks from T-Zone: The Holographic Peel Off Mask, the Australian Pink Clay Mask and the Charcoal & Bamboo Black Peel Off Mask.

The Charcoal and Bamboo Black Peel Off Mask (RRP: £5.99 50ml tube / £1.99 10ml sachet) is for Ultra Purifying. It’s supposed to peel away blackheads which is hard to believe but it actually did! You can see them stuck to the back of the peeled away mask. I did the face mask with my husband and it was quite a funny experience, not only does it give quite a dramatic look but it’s also quite an experience taking the mask off. It kind of hurts, but at the same time had us in stitches laughing so hard. You know it has to come off but is a painful process. No Pain no gain I guess! It’s actually a refreshing pain and is definitely worth it as it leaves your skin feeling soft and clear. As you can visibly see the blackheads that have come out it proves that there has been good work done! It peels off really well, as long as it’s completely dry all over and your face just needs a little splash with soap and water to get the last bits off. You really should take note of the warning to keep away from eyebrows and facial hair… boy does that sting!

The next face mask I tried was the Australian Pink Clay Mask with Kakadu Plum (RRP: £8.95 125ml tube / £2.99 20ml sachet). This is to brighten and detoxify your skin. This was really easy to apply with a good consistency like smooth yoghurt. It also seemed cooling and refreshing when being applied to your skin. This would be good to do before you got ready for a special occasion as it only took 15 minutes (or less depending on amount applied) to dry and was easy to wash off with warm water, although I helped it along with a bit of soap too. Bonus points for it being vegan and cruelty free. After I applied this face mask my skin felt soft and smooth. My skin felt fairly tight and dry but super super soft after I put on my normal moisturiser.

The Holographic Peel Off Mask (RRP: £6.99 50ml tube / £2.99 20ml sachet) promises to balance your skin with its moisturising, brightening, soothing and calming properties. The colour was epic, and shiny like a mermaid’s tail. It was hard to know exactly how much to put on, it came out fairly thick and gloopy. I put a fairly thick layer on and it took a little under 30 minutes to fully dry. Once it was fully dry it peeled off really easily, still keeping its beautiful colours. Again, leaving skin smooth and looking fabulous!
I would definitely use all of these face masks again. I’m finding it quite hard to choose which one is my favourite. I’d say it’s good to have the 3 varieties to hand depending on what you feel you need at the time. I think the packaging reflected the ‘mood’ of each one well. I love the packaging to the Holographic Peel Off Mask though. They are all my favourite!!
