It’s the time of year when you are getting over the craziness and busyness of Christmas and hopefully getting back into routines, so the perfect time to start looking after yourself again. Now I’m sure like me we are all suffering with dried out/irritated skin due to the crisp cold weather and central heating.
To get your skin back to healthy you need to start with the basics and really concentrate on a cleansing routine, sure we all know if you cleanse well you are on the right tracks.
I was happy to receive a bottle of Super Facialist Rosehip Hydrate Gentle Foaming Cleanser to review.
The product arrived promptly and well packed in a large cardboard box, I thought the box would have been smaller for the size of the bottle – but pleased to see that it is a recyclable box.
Now about the product. This is a handy size 150 ml take anywhere lovely pink bottle, with plenty of information and clear basic instructions on how to use the cleanser.
It says the ‘new’ cleanser is suitable for sensitive skin, vegan friendly and dermatology tested. Contains Hyaluronic acid and rosehip, aloe Vera and marshmallow for calming benefits.
After a busy day with the grandchildren and then a shift at work, I couldn’t wait to give this a try. As with similar items you are of course advised to do a patch test, which I did, and all was fine. The instructions say cleanse daily morning and night, simply damp your face first then do gentle circular movements over face and neck, and then rinse well and pat dry.
The bottle as a pump action dispenser which makes it so easy to quickly pump a couple of times to get the amount that you need. I have to say that I do think it as quite a strong smell of the Rosehip and didn’t really smell any other ingredients.
I did find the product very easy to use, and even though it says that it is suitable for sensitive skin, I did get a little bit of tingling (maybe this is supposed to happen?) but that soon went. Even after only a couple of times of using this I can honestly say my skin felt very smooth and really clean – very impressed.
I have been using this for a few days now and really happy with how my skin is feeling, and I have gotten used to the strong Rosehip smell when you first apply. And it doesn’t take long to do the routine, so no excuses.
Now with it being just a few weeks away from Valentine’s I was very pleased to be able to try and review this lovely item. What a wonderful gift this could be.
The Super Facialist Rosehip Hydrate Gentle Foaming Cleanser is a new product that the company sells and could be bought as part of a gift. You could make up a marvellous hamper of this and other products that the company sells. I know I for one would be very happy to receive this.
It’s a perfect time to treat the one you love with products like this, let them know you want them to take ‘time out’ to look after themselves and have a little pamper time!
