Spearmark Head Light Review

Reviewed by Louise Forbes

This Head Light from Spearmark is a great addition to any kid’s bedroom with its funky look (looks like a DJ head with its headphones and cap). It’s a 3-in-1 light – 2 light settings in the cap (white or flashing) and a noise activated light in his mouth.

My 8 year old likes to use a night light although I’m not keen on him having a proper light on all night, I found this is a nice in between compromise. It’s bright enough to keep the room being fully dark but it’s not enough to startle. I would say it’s not bright enough to read with either which has been a bit of a shame.

We both like the flashing light option and because my son is very noisy it doesn’t take much to feel like a disco in his room! We put an mp3 player in its mouth and found that it was able to pick up the noise and was great fun and created a bit of a party atmosphere.

The downside is that it doesn’t come with an adapter (although you can use from mains if you purchase an adapter) which is a bit of a shame but battery life seems to be pretty good if you put decent batteries in it.
