I always love to learn about a company I have never heard of before, so I just had to find out more about Toys ’N’ Tuck. The following information is taken from the company’s website.

DELIVERY PACKAGING
The item itself was only wrapped in some kind of black sticky plastic. I did not like that for 2 reasons, 1, it does not protect the actual product from being damaged in terms of dents and 2, the plastic is not recyclable.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT
This comes secured in a box with an array of amazingly beautiful, bright and bold colours, from pink, green, yellow, purple and more. The image of the milkshake really did get my taste buds going and could not wait to get started with my 9 year old grandson. He is autistic and this kit is great for sensory play, development and Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, also known as ASMR. This term can help to calm and relax. His attention span increases along with some interaction with touch, feel and visual. It is amazing to watch him. We have stored the kit in a cupboard and he knows where it is and whilst he does not talk much or very well, he will take my hand, walk me to the cupboard and point to it. This melted my heart.

I am an absolute huge fan of any toy that encompasses sensory and interactive play. I find it is extremely important for any child’s development and Toys ’N’ Tuck did not disappoint with this product.

I particularly love the colours this slime kit has to offer. Other than the clear coloured slime, the other colours shout out vibrant, loud and bright and they really are a great way to keep any child engaged in the whilst playing. The colours are as follows:-

HOW TO PLAY AND MAKE THE MILKSHAKE
The cup comes in 4 pieces and which was very easy to put together. The cup comes in 2 halves, there is a base that the cup slots into and then there is a top bit to secure the tops of the 2 halves of the cup. We then set to work making the milkshake. My oh my, not sure who had the most fun, me or my grandson LOL. The textures of the products to make the milkshake with are fun and magical, my grandson absolutely loved them and really did get his sensory play into action.

On the instructions leaflet is a barcode that once you scan it, will take you to a video that shows you a snipped on how to make the milkshake and other products. Here is the link to have a look:- https://youtu.be/Yr8xp38AUJY?feature=shared

The concept is to ‘Create’, ‘Decorate’, ‘Share It (take a picture and show others) and then Crush It. All of this created so much fun and before I had a chance to get a picture of the completed milkshake, my grandson could not wake to crush it. We did not get chance to make it again before he went home which was a shame as I would have liked to get a picture of the finished product.

With regard to the sprinkles, they do get mixed-up with the slimes if you crush it all, maybe if you had the time and patience, you could pick them off. It really is just a personal preference.

All in all, we had great fun. This would make for an ideal gift whether it is for birthday, just because or, dare I say it; Christmas is only 5 months away, so why not start shopping now.

On the back of the instructions, it does point out that they contain fragrances that may cause allergies. There were some aromas but nothing that was overpowering and we were both ok.
