Sherlock Holmes 2:
A Game of Shadows

Reviewed by Delphi Ellis

Length: 2 hrs 09 mins
Genre: Action, Crime
Rating: 12a
Directed by: Guy Ritchie
Starring: Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law, Jarred Harris

In Ritchie's explosive sequel, Holmes (Downey Jr) must face his dark nemesis Professor James Moriarty (Harris) with the help of his faithful companion and man at arms Dr Watson (Law).  Whilst attempting to predict and foil Moriarty's sinister plan Holmes must also ensure the safety of Watson and his unsuspecting new bride.

With hilarious scenes integrated into the plot which, on its own certainly keeps you on your toes, Ritchie has once again found the perfect balance for mastering a crime thriller with good old fashioned entertainment.  This, combined with Downey Jr's ability to capture the character of the eccentric Holmes, ensures a delightful and captivating drama not to be missed.

I’m not really a fan of Sherlock Holmes and I’ve not seen any of the other movies, but it didn't matter it all fitted really well together. I did enjoy this film it was fantastic, action pack what a brilliant movie well worth watching.
