AO.com was founded by John Roberts in 2000 who built this online company after a discussion with a friend in a Bolton pub who bet him £1 that he couldn’t set up his own company and disrupt the white goods market by selling appliances online. If you are still uncertain or have further questions, they have an online chat or by email; their phone numbers are extremely busy, so these methods are the quickest.

AO.com have a price match promise, flexible delivery, removal of old appliances and packaging. Should the unfortunate happen, and the product requires returning, this is simple to do via their site to arrange a replacement, swop over of product or just have it returned. Their website gives tips and even recipes.

Having used AO.com in the past (before this review) I would rate them 5* as they deliver exactly what they promise. I arranged a delivery date when ordering, they kept me up to date with each step. The freezer I purchased was placed where I wanted it, they unpacked and took away the old one. This service made all the difference to me; the company delivery personnel were polite, helpful and went over and above to ensure I was completely happy before they left.

First released January 2022 comes in a variety of models/combinations and colours (Graphite, Pink Gold and Silver) to choose from: 4G cellular/Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi only and internal storage of either 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. They also accept MicroSD cards up to 1TB.

My first impressions this tablet is substantially built which appears heavier than the 508 grams. The casing is made of aluminium and plastic which makes it robust. The screen is made from gorilla glass which has a scratch-resistant, drop resistant quality. Making it perfect for use on the go and for children.

Setting up is simple and offers sign in security with a pin number. The device comes loaded with your basic apps to use, google, YouTube etc. Using the app store, you have 1000s to choose from.

The 10.5” wide display offers great viewing experience, and the symmetric bezel does not hinder as it is not intrusive.
The camera is average for a budget tablet, 8MP rear and 5MP front; it takes a good selfie and is sufficient for face time and conference calls. The downside is that it does not have a flash, and the camera eye is raised but this can be rectified by getting a cover. I like that you can adjust the settings of the camera to give a better photo using natural light.

Sound quality is really amazing, the quad speakers are powered by Dolby Atmos surround sound; watching films or tv really gives you an outstanding experience and for this budget tablet is outstanding.

The tablet responds quickly and holds its charge. The tablet comes with a charging cable, but it does take quite a while to charge from ‘dead’; personally, I never let it go that far and charge it regularly at night for use the next day. Personally, I would not use this tablet for serious gaming as the processor is not strong enough however, for general movie viewing, conference type calls, browsing it is perfect.

Overview: A perfect tablet for day-to-day use which is sold at a fantastic price and because of the ease of use anyone can set it up, download relevant apps for hobbies, children and watching tv/movies. It is the ideal gift for all family members young and old.
