I received the Rockabilly Kids toothbrush to review. The first thing I liked about the packaging was how easy it was to open. Most toothbrushes take a pair of scissors and scratches over your hands to just remove the toothbrush from the plastic packaging.
Inside the plastic casing was the Rockabilly Kids toothbrush and 3 spare heads, a brilliant idea to encourage regular changing of worn down heads every 3 months as advised by dentists. Our toothbrush was blue and called Astronaut Andy – I don’t know if it is available in different colours, ours was in blue.
The packaging claims ‘you can’t knock ‘em down’. The toothbrush that can’t fall over! We were eager to test this claim and a toy from my youth came to mind. We rocked it and tried lying it down but it still stood up after swaying so yes I totally agree with the statement that it can’t fall over.
The actual toothbrush is weighted at the base and feels quite heavy but my son never complained it was too heavy to hold compared to his old toothbrush. In fact the toothbrush has an ergonomic handle designed for small hands.
It has a picture of an astronaut on it floating in space. Perfect to attract little children’s attention. The heads are very easy to change.
I would recommend this toothbrush for ease of opening, spare heads and the fact it will stay germ free by standing up on the side of the sink.
As I said, we received the Astronaut Andy design but there are 5 other different designs available on the Rockabilly Kids website.
