My daughter has a thing for bags! Yes she’s only 4 but I can see it growing into a full on obsession when she is old enough to shop for herself – I wonder where she gets that from! So, I already know that she has a preference for bags that can really catch your eye. So when I opened my parcel from Rex London and saw this Bonnie The Bunny Mini Backpack I knew she would love it immediately. I was right! Her response was “Mummy, it’s so cute with all the bunnies. Can I use it for nursery every day?” It was certainly love at first sight! So off she went to fill her new favourite bag with all the essentials that a 4-year-old needs to get through a busy day at nursery.
The girl has good taste, upon closer inspection the bag has a wonderful vibrant bunny pattern which is easily spotted amongst the sea of bags hung up on the pre-school coat hooks. It has all the standard features expected of a backpack including a side zip pocket, a carry hook and padded adjustable shoulder straps. It seems very sturdy and hard-wearing; I expect it will last and last and will with-stand the constant zipping and unzipping and packing and unpacking that keeps my daughter busy for way longer than it should. With its wipe clean material it’ll be easy to keep looking like new. But it’s the design that makes this bag feel like it’s a real quality product. It looks very unique and exclusive in style.
After just one day wearing the backpack as well it had invited a number of comments of ‘how lovely it is’ with many an admiring look from my daughters friends. It’s not too big either. I would say it’s perfect for pre-school age, big enough to fit a change of clothes, drink and spare shoes into but also small enough for little people to carry it easily on their backs or in their hand. Its handy to take to the park with a little picnic in or for those instances (of which there are many) when she wants some specially picked toys to accompany us on our travels.
Retailing at £12.95 it’s also very budget friendly and a perfect accessory for any pre-schooler as well as being a great gift that is functional and eye catching at the same time.
