Rainbow High is a fictional visual arts school with a lot of focus on music and fashion where the pupils let their individual talents shine, I have watched many episodes on YouTube with my 6 year old granddaughter, the pupils are very colourful each representing a colour of the rainbow and dressed in the latest fashions. The stories show the pupils dealing with the many challenges in school while keeping their individuality.
They teach children individuality, teamwork and perseverance all good skills for a child to learn.
A new addition to the Rainbow High family are the “Rainbow High Littles” they are the little sisters of the Rainbow High junior high dolls, just as colourful and just as fashionable, not exact matches to their older sisters but you can tell they are related and ready to create some new stories. Like the quote on the back of each box “ there’s no best friend like a little sister”.
Approx 14cm high with moveable head, arms and legs they are very easy to pose, and have adorable colour coordinated outfits which are completely removable including footwear that fits tight and won’t be prone to falling off, each doll also has a little bag to carry that matches her outfit and a cute little pet that looks like a cross between a bear and a unicorn all in the corresponding colour theme, the hair styles are gorgeous and hair colour also matches the outfits.
The first things my granddaughter checks when given any dolls is can they sit down, can the hair be styled and do the clothes come off. These dolls passed all the tests with flying colours and she was soon busy swapping all the outfits around and making up her own stories with the dolls. Then she decided to cut up the boxes that the dolls came in and with the addition of some more card and paper she made a stage and started to put on a little show with the dolls. Such a great example of how toys like these can ignite a child’s imagination. There’s so much play value in these dolls especially if you’ve already got other dolls in the range.
There are six dolls in the “Rainbow High Littles” collection Daisy Madison all in yellow, Indigo Bailey all in purple, Amethyst Willow all in lilac, Sapphire Bradshaw all in blue and Opal Raine in multiple pastel colours, Magenta Monroe (not in the picture) in red.
All presented in a box with a see through panel on the front so you can clearly see the doll and all the included accessories. On the back of each box you can see a picture of the full range of dolls.
These dolls are suitable for ages 4 and up, they are sold individually at £9.99 each a perfect price point for a birthday or a just because gift I can see children may be draw towards their favourite colour first but will then want to collect the whole set.
