Play Factore Review

Play Factore

Yesterday I was more excited than my daughter I think to be going to Play Factore for the first time. We were not 100% sure where exactly the entrance was, but needn’t have worried because it was well signposted from the road. Upon entering my daughter, the boys and I sat in the spacious reception on their very comfortable sofas for a few minutes until our friend arrived with her daughter and a couple of our children’s mutual friends. The admission staff couldn’t be more helpful and quickly took the children’s’ shoes. Once the gate was opened my friend and I looked at each other as all the children were off onto the apparatus.

The children were aged between 5 and 7 years old. We felt a bit redundant. We entered the spacious area containing tables and sat down for a chat. There was enough space for my twin boys to stay in their buggy at our table. We went to buy ourselves and the children some drinks and lunch. I opted for a diet Pepsi, Fruit Shoot and some garlic pizza bread with a cookie for my daughter. My friend opted for a hot drink, pizza, some soup, fruit shoots and a cookie. I liked the fact that the venue clearly works hard at providing healthy eating options for the whole family. The children came back in between playing for their food and drink but were never back at the table for long.

The apparatus is the biggest/tallest I have ever seen and even had a basketball court. The children also loved going into to the Just Dance area and copying the member of staff doing the Just Dance activity. The highlight of my day was definitely my friend climbing the apparatus to go on the bumpy slide with her daughter!  I took one of the twins to check out the well-equipped toddler area. He was mesmerised by the lights in the sensory area. As well as having the apparatus to climb the children made good use of the go karts and laser area. They went happily from area to area.

The whole venue was spotlessly clean, including the toilet and changing facilities. The toilet area even had step up stools available so that little people could wash their hands. A lot of thought had clearly gone into the facilities. Every staff member I came across was helpful and polite.

The entry prices were very reasonable considering that they included the go karting and laser area, as well as the Just Dance activity which was laid on for the children.

We will definitely be going back soon.
