This is a fantastic utensil that helps make the best mashed potato. The simple design helps even the less talented cook make supreme mashed potato dishes.
All you need to do is boil potatoes until they are tender and cut them int0 pieces small enough to fit into the ricer, then rest the ricer onto a bowl or a saucepan and then squeeze the handles together.
The handles are covered and this helps absorb the pressure as the creation of perfect mashed potatoes. The cushioned knob will hook onto any style of bowl or saucepan.
The ricer is brilliant for potatoes but you can try ricing bananas or cooked carrots for baby food. The OXO Ricer is a brilliant utensil it’s also extremely stylish in appearance too.
