I was chosen to review the Alto Micro – Alternative Hoops (mini) from Nude Jewellery and I was super excited about this as I don’t have a lot of nice jewellery.
When the postman came and left me a box, I was eager to open it up and see what the earrings were like.
Inside the packaging was a grey, ribbon tied gift box which twisted open to reveal a small black jewellery box. Upon opening the small jewellery box, I found a dainty pair of unusual silver hoop earrings.
It felt really special opening these boxes, a bit like a kid on Christmas morning. It made receiving these earrings even more exciting.
The earrings are mini silver studs (with a butterfly back) made up of tiny 1mm bubbles to create a hoop that is 6mm in diameter that sits flat against your ear. The earrings are lightweight and super comfortable to wear, I even forgot I was wearing them. I have sensitive skin and had no trouble at all whilst I had them in.
The simple and minimalist design of these earrings mean that I would be happy to put them in in the morning and wear them all day to either dress up or dress down.
I was really happy to have received these and they would definitely be something I would give as a gift. If I had been given a pair of these earrings for Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day (31 March 2019) I would be made up.
Although these earrings are small and dainty, they really look special and stand out more than you would think, and I have had several compliments whilst I have been wearing them.
On the website there are lots of co-ordinating pieces and alternative colours of jewellery to go with the earrings I received. Since I have liked wearing my earrings so much, I will definitely be looking to buy more pieces to match and make a set.
