Natural Birthing Company New Mum Bundle Review

This perfect bundle of new mum must haves was recently sent to me to review. I was really pleased to receive this bundle as one of my friends has just had a baby, so I thought it would be the perfect gift to give her as most new mums receive gifts for the baby, with most people forgetting that the mum deserves a little treat.

This new mum bundle contains the Natural Birthing Company’s award winning products: Bottoms Up – Bottoms Up has won the 2020 Bizziebaby Gold Award. Bosom Buddies – Bosom Buddies has won the 2020 Bizziebaby Silver Award. Sleepy Mama – Sleepy Mama has won the 2020 Mama & Baby Award (for best pillow mist!).

Bottoms Up comes in a 100ml bottle and is specifically designed to provide instant relief to your sore vulva and perineal area following childbirth by soothing, cooling and calming the area. It is made from natural ingredients including: Lavender, Witch Hazel, Cucumber and Arnica and is a vegan formula. This innovative formula will soothe discomfort and promote healthy healing for your skin.

Sleepy Mama also comes in a 100ml bottle and is a relaxing pillow spray. Sleepy mama contains: Lavender, Chamomile, Bergamot and Grapefruit and promotes relaxation to your body and mind- Something that is very much needed in those later weeks of pregnancy and first few months of being a mother. It is suggested to ease you into a beautiful night’s sleep. I absolutely love the smell of this one, it was the perfect blend.

Bosom Buddies consists of 3 x10ml breastfeeding oils. They claim to provide instant comfort to breast feeding problems and enable you to continue your breastfeeding journey. The 3 oils included are: Ooh- for engorged breasts, Aah- for low milk supply and Ouch- for sore nipples. These are the items that really stood out to me out of the whole bundle. Having had thrush, mastitis and a really tough breastfeeding journey myself, I recognise the importance of looking after your nipples when breast feeding. These are an excellent addition to a new mum’s skincare collection. The key ingredients in the breastfeeding oils are: Geranium, Lemongrass, Mandarin and Peppermint. Again, like the other items in the the bundle they are natural, vegan products- something that is a must, especially if you are applying to your nipples in between feeds.

When I presented my friend with this bundle, she was overjoyed. She has only just given birth, so it was perfect timing for her to try out all of the products. She fed back to me that bottoms up has been invaluable for her sore parts and soothed her after having 2nd degree cuts, sleepy mama has really helped her to get to sleep (when baby allows of course) and she has found it really relaxing and the bosom buddies trio have really been helping with her feeding and keeping her nipples from cracking or going sore.

Overall, we are extremely impressed with this new mum bundle and would definitely recommend it to a friend. If I was to have any more children, I would be overjoyed at receiving this set as a gift and I believe any other new mum would too. It’s is a real must have. We would rate it 5/5.
