Moshulu Malia 2 Slippers Review

I came home to the most exciting parcel today, it arrived looking like it was gift wrapped, not the usual boring postage bag. The packaging was brightly coloured, exciting and cheerful. Inside the shoe box followed the same colourful patterns and then I found them, my Moshulu Malia 2 slippers in Denim – a light blue/grey and pink with multi coloured spots.

The Malia slippers are a mule style, definitely my favourite style for slippers, although I noted from the website that there are similar designs in a full shoe style (if you are keen on the pattern but prefer a fuller slipper). Instantly the slippers made me smile! The fun and vibrant design was just the perfect pick me up after a busy day at work. I had chosen the ‘Denim’ colour design, which is a pale blue/grey with brightly coloured spots and contrasting pink trimming, but there were so many different colours to choose from on the website, I was truly spoiled for choice and there is definitely something to suit everyone. The slippers are a soft felt fabric, with bobbly spots and I was please to see they had a sturdy rubber sole, which made me confident that these slippers would be long lasting and non-slip.
I couldn’t wait to try them out and they did not disappoint! The inner sole is cushioned and very supportive –perfect to soothe my achy feet after a long day! The inner sole is a suede like material, which is super soft. They are light weight and so comfortable, its almost like walking on air. The Malia 2 slippers have arrived at the perfect time, with the change in the weather and the colder months approaching, these cosy slippers will truly provide me with months of warmth and will literally brighten my day, every time I wear them. Having had them for a week now, I have worn them every day and I can report that they are wearing well and if anything are even more comfy than on day 1!

The Moshulu website is just as cheery as their packaging and makes online shopping a joy! It is easy to navigate and order and also has helpful information such as sizing. I ordered a UK size 7 and found them to be true to size. The sippers also arrived very quicky (within about 48 hours of ordering) and overall I can say I am really impressed with every aspect of the process, there is even a free returns policy, which although I have no need to use this, is always reassuring when ordering online. Its often the small touches which make all the difference and I can say that in my opinion Moshulu have really got it right, they have a fun, quality product, a great website with easy ordering and attention to detail – the small touches like the packaging. The slippers are priced at £35.99 and delivery is £3.99 although click and collect is also available. While this is a little more than I would usually spend on slippers, I do feel they are worth it. You can definitely tell the difference in quality from slippers you might pick up elsewhere and as a result of this I can see they will be long lasting and so I see this an investment and a little bit of pampering for me! I will definitely be buying them again in the future!
