I will be honest; trying on jeans is one of my absolute hates! When I need jeans I really have to work myself up to try them on – there’s so many styles to choose from, so many different fits and it just makes me feel stressed. So much so I often come out of the changing rooms flustered and frustrated and not purchasing anything at all!
Along comes Lands’ End where the items get delivered to your door and I can try them on in the comfort of my own home, rather than in a 1m square hot changing room!
The website is super easy to use showing all the jeans styles and colours on actual models, so you can get a proper idea of how they will look. It even has a section of category best sellers so you can skip to that section to see what others are buying.
As a mum of a certain age I have accepted that I now look better in high waisted jeans but I do like them stretched, but not too stretched (see, not an easy jeans customer!).
Land’s End have such a wide selection to choose from so I ordered a pair of Women’s Mid Rise stretch slim jeans in Devoe Wash – a classic denim blue that I have avoided for years.
My parcel arrived not long after and I was delighted that it was packaged so beautifully. (I’m a big attention to details kinda girl). The jeans were wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with a label and then placed in a box and finished with ribbon – such a good start for me, and a whole new jean shopping experience.
And onto the jeans…the denim is a lovely mid blue and so super soft. So many times I have tried jeans on and the material is hard and almost cardboard-esk, but these felt like the opposite. The fit is lovely. Stretched but comfy, waisted but not too high, shapely without being painted on! I love them – and believe me, I am a challenging jean customer to satisfy!! They even pass the sitting down challenge – the one where you want to sit down with out showing the world your underwear from behind and without it digging in your waist – and when you stand, you don’t feel the need to pull them up as they already fit so well!
I wouldn’t hesitate to order again from Lands’ End and would certainly recommend to my friends. Their presentation was impeccable, and the product extremely good quality and a perfect fit. I am converted, and I think I have just found my go-to brand for jeans!
