Mary Jean Tea Tree and Peppermint Body Butter Review

When I was offered the chance to review a product from Mary Jean, I first checked out the web page www.maryjean.co.uk to see what products they had available. Also on this link there is various information.

It was interesting to read that the products are all homemade in small batches for complete freshness, and are made in a country side cottage, using only the finest cold pressed oils for assured quality that your skin deserves!

I decided it would be nice to try the Tea Tree and Peppermint Body Butter (I have always liked tea tree products). This product also contained apricot and aloe.

The body butter arrived very promptly in a nice 50g pot, with clear basic instructions on the side of how to apply. And on reading all the ingredients makes you think ‘this is going to be so good for my skin’.

Also, it states on the jar that once opened it has a shelf life of 12 months.

So, as advised on the jar you just need to apply small amount and massage well into the skin until it is absorbed before applying anymore. It has a thick texture and you can really smell the tea tree, and when massaging into my skin my skin tingled and felt warm.

Although a little greasy this is a very nice refreshing product.

I played a little more attention to dry areas like my knees, elbows and in between my fingers, and on a couple of occasions in the evening I applied just a bit more than normal in between my fingers and wore special gloves to allow the body butter to work its magic overnight.

I also asked my daughter to try it out, and she agreed with me – definitely a body butter we’ve enjoyed using to help make our skin feel smooth.

A refreshing body butter that I think this would make a great gift for a birthday, Mother’s Day, or any other special present.
