ABOUT THE PRODUCT
I was very excited to review the Turtle Tots UV All In One with Legionnaire Hat for my youngest grandson who has not long turned 1 year old. He has daily swimming lessons and loves it. This all in one and hat was a great fit and perfect for his lessons and getting him ready to use it every day when he goes on holiday. After 7 uses in just 1 week with his swimming lessons and then in the garden in his paddling pool, I can confidently say this outfit delivers what it promises.
Sun Protection & Coverage I was absolutely astounded when I learnt that this has an incredibly impressive feature of UV protection. The suit covers most of the body; arms, legs, and torso, while the Legionnaire-style hat protects the head, neck and ears. It really cuts down on the number of places where sun cream needs to be applied, which makes it quicker, easier and less messy. The long back flap of the hat stays in place very well and provides a really good shade, even when the sun is high.
Comfort & Fit The material is soft, lightweight, and breathable. It does not cling when wet, making it easier for any child who may feel restricted. It dries much quicker than I expected. My grandson appeared very comfortable in it and loved the design on it. I especially love the zipper on the front as it makes changing so much easier. I would say it is true to size but it is always worth checking first by measuring your child before buying.
Durability & Design After 8 washes, the colours remain bright and the stitching is still very firm as if it was brand new. The fabric keeps its shape after each wash, no stretching or bagginess
I absolutely love the design, it is very bright, bold and cheerful.
Legionnaire Hat The hat is a great concept and one that is very much needed when outside at the beach or in the garden. The neck flap offers excellent coverage and the fabric is very light.
OVERALL
This little combination is a fantastic choice for anyone who wants something to keep their little ones safe from UV, is reliable and fuss-free. It is convenient, well-constructed, and my grandson certainly loved it in both comfort and appearance.
