Lyrical Lineup Of legendary Vocalists Announced For Siren’s Thursday Night Fabio & Grooverider Headline Show (Preview)

Multi-genre vocalists announced for Fabio & Grooverider with The Outlook Orchestra, which will kick off the 2023 Siren series on Thursday 27 July

Siren has today announced (editor’s note – this post was posted some time later than the announcement) leading vocalists UK Apache, Jenna G, Kele Le Roc, Cleveland Watkiss and MC GQ have joined the lineup to kick off its summer celebration of dance and globally-renowned tracks. Taking to the stage alongside stellar headliner Fabio & Grooverider with The Outlook Orchestra, the diverse group of vocalists will assist the Outlook Orchestra in re-creating some of the most legendary tunes in Drum & Bass history live on Thursday 27 July.

UK Apache is joining the Siren lineup for a one-off exclusive performance following a musical hiatus. Known for creating an eruption of energy in any jungle rave, UK Apache is still gracing festival stages 25 years on, continuing to bring the sounds of classic jungle to a devoted audience. His distinctive vocals will form an integral part of Thursday night’s headline set from Fabio & Grooverider as they recreate his breakthrough single with Shy FX Original Nuttah live on stage with a full Orchestra.

From pirate radio and BBC’s 1Xtra to the Siren stage, singer/songwriter Jenna G has featured in multiple musical genres including Drum & Bass, House, Dubstep, Rock, Soul and Alternative. Inspired by underground sounds, Jenna is perhaps best known in the Drum and Bass world for her work with Un-Cut and has collaborated with some of the mainstream and underground’s finest producers, stapling her into the industry as one of the  finest singer songwriters to emerge from Manchester. Jenna will be performing live tracks including her classic collaboration with Chase & Status “In Love” as well as many other anthems from the history of Drum & Bass over the past three decades

R&B and Garage singing chart topper and MOBO award winner Kele Le Roc found her sound with her debut album “Everybody’s Somebody” and her two singles “Little Bit of Lovin'” and “My Love”, both of which charted within the UK top ten. Originally gaining prominence in the R&B and Garage scenes, Kele will be joining the Outlook Orchestra to add her incredible vocal tones to some of the DNB’s most iconic tracks including DJ Zinc’z reworking of the Fugees’ “Ready or Not” and many more!

Bending genres, award-winning Jazz vocalist Cleveland Watkiss will be lending his talent to the stage having previously performed with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Robbie Williams, The Who and Bjork. No stranger to the spotlight, Cleveland has performed at many of the major concert halls, festivals and clubs around the world and soon to be at Siren covering DJ Marky’s classic “LK – It’s the Way” and many more iconic Drum and Bass anthems.

The MC of choice for some of DNB’s biggest DJ’s for more than 30 years, GQ has hosted for the likes of Andy C, DJ Hype, Marky, Break, Kasra and many more as well as helped break some of the leading names in D&B today such as Jubei, SP:MC, Breakage & Sabre. From massive festivals to small intimate events, GQ has experience hyping up the crowd and will be coming to Bristol this summer as the front man for Fabio & Grooverider’s incredible orchestral history of Drum & Bass.
