Lush Chilli Tingle Lip Tint

The Packaging:
Lush Chilli Tingle Lip Tint comes in a 10g small lip balm tin which is perfect for fitting in your pocket when you’re out and about.  The Lush label is clearly printed on both the top and bottom of the tin and on the bottom it even tells you when the product was made, when it is to be used by and a full list of ingredients. Ingredients include fair-trade cocoa butter, icing sugar and of course ground chilli…. yummy!!!

The Product:
Lush Lip Tints come in a few shades and retail at approximately £4.75 which is a very reasonable price for a makeup product such as this. When I initially opened the tin, I was greeted by a sweet smelling with a hint of chilli, bright orange looking tint but upon application the colour is definitely a more natural red and this colour intensifies the more you apply the product throughout the day.  Although my lips didn’t tingle when I applied the product I can honestly say that due to the chilli, yerba santa and annatto seeds my lips did look fuller and coloured beautifully.  Some lip tints and balms dry out my lips but Lush Lip Tint also worked perfectly as a lip balm and left my lips feeling soft and smooth.

Overall:
As a non make up wearer I was pleasantly surprised by how natural Lush Chilli Tingle Lip Tint looks when applied and the subtlety of the taste and smell. I definitely plan on purchasing and recommending Lush Lip Tint, especially Celebrate Lip Tint, the fizzing Champagne lip balm and tint.

The Chilli Tingle Tip Tint is perfect for adding a bit of oomph to your lips. It uses chilli’s and an aromatic herb called yerba santa to make lips plump and tingly. The orange colour is not too intense which makes it great for everyday use. It tastes delicious and makes your lips feel soft and smooth, a definate for cold winter days. The Chilli Tingle Tip Tint is perfect for adding a bit of oomph to your lips, its uses chilli’s and an aromatic herb called yerba santa to make lips plump and tingly. I tried the chilli lip tingle on my rather dry lips this week and couldn't really feel the tingle but my mum also tried it and said she felt it. I wasn't very keen on the colour but it did soothe my dry lips so will carry on using it this winter. I give it a 3 out 5.

This lip tint came in a handy pocket sized tin, which was clearly labelled. The orange label made it very eye catching and easy recognisable at the bottom of my bag.

It was easy to open, and when I did I was met by a fairly bright coloured orangey/red tint and a nice sweet smelling scent.

I was a little unsure of trying this lip tint as the 'chilli' in the title made me a little hesitant as I'm not someone who is a massive fan of chillies, but I was pleasantly surprised that as I applied the lip tint it didnt have a chilli taste or sting my lips like I thought, instead left them looking more plump and kissable and feeling soft and moisturised. The colour once applied isnt as vibrant as it is in the tin, in fact it's better.

I would recommend this to family and friends as it is a nice lip tint and helps dry lips to feel smoother, I do think it is a little expensive for the size of the tin, but I can see this lasting awhile.

The lip tint had a pleasant mild flavour and a subtle colour. Very handy as I don’t wear makeup. It was nice to add a bit of colour on the go.
