With so many grandchildren, I very familiar with CBBC’s Love Monster and his Fluffytown Friends. If you don’t know much about them, whilst they are out and about on their adventures, they also learn life lessons. We love the website and it is very interactive for children from an educational perspective. INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT HOW THE PYJAMAS ARE MADE

Now, we all know and hear a lot of late about the planet and our environment, so to find out that these cute and adorable pyjamas are made from organic cotton… well, what can I say other than the fact that I was bowled over. Whilst organic, it does not mention anything about the ‘Soil Association Organic’ certification. If you do not know what this is I have put a brief description below for you.

Organic certification is a requisite to show that products have met the legal standards. The symbol of the ‘Soil Association is a known and trusted mark of organic certification internationally. If products meets the standards required, it means the certification body can give the certification to many of the organic standards at a high level.

Another fact I love about this company is that for every purchase made, they plant a tree and all packaging is recycled.

ABOUT THE PYJAMAS

This is adorable, such bright and bold colours, absolutely great for interactive play, not just with the characters but with the colours too. What a great way to teach colours with toddlers CBBC characters.

The back, arms and neck collar are all red whilst the front displays the following characters on a white background with the heading saying ‘Happy Together :-

It has a U shaped neck line with good elasticity for leverage, this is particularly great as it helps when putting the child’s head through it.

BOTTOMS
So cute and lovely. These are of a grey background with white clouds, yellow stars and Love Monster himself. The hem is also in red. There are a number of images of him with different facial expressions.

The size I have is 3-4 years old. It fitted really well and comfortably on my great nephew who is 40 months old with still some room to spare.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR PYJAMAS
On the label, is says wash at 40 degrees, however I washed it at 30 degrees and it came out lovely. I did turn them inside out first though as advised on the label but I have always done this. Using fabric conditioner made these pyjamas sooooo fluffy too. They iron up great too. It also advises on the label, which I always do and that is to iron them inside out, this not only prevents the colours being affected by the heat but the transfers on them can not be ironed on directly, hence why it s best to iron inside out.

These can be tumbled dried, I used a low heat and did not take long to dry.

Not quite a 5. For such an environmentally sourced and produced garment, I am concerned about the carbon footprint as it is made in and shipped from China to the U.K.
