Love Leggings Revitalise Cropped Midnight Black Go-To Leggings Review

I was really pleased to be chosen to review the Revitalise Cropped Midnight Black Go-To Leggings. As mum to a growing teen who spends her life in leggings and refuses to wear anything else, I am always looking for great quality, great fitting leggings at a reasonable price. My daughter is however incredibly picky and hard to please, so I knew that she wouldn’t go easy on this test.

I was really impressed with the next day delivery, my order was placed at around 6pm and the leggings arrived as promised the next day and all for the reasonable price of £1.99.  As delivery goes I think this is a fantastic price, with many high street chains charging over double this for standard delivery, let alone next day.

Unpacking the leggings my daughter thoroughly inspected them looking for any minor flaws and reasons to dislike them, she likes exactly what she likes and just like most teenagers wants to ensure she is fashionable and fits in with her friends. In all honesty there was nothing not to like, the leggings were made of a soft stretchy fabric and black is always a great and versatile colour. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was not the typical athletic legging material which can be a bit shiny and have a sporty look, but equally wasn’t the stretchy jersey fabric which over time can lose its stretch and colour. The leggings passed the initial teenager test and she couldn’t wait to try them on!

My daughter is a size 10-12, so we took a bit of a gamble and ordered a size 10, this is her usual leggings size and they fitted perfectly. I was pleased that when the leggings were worn they did not become see through and they maintained there colour and density of the fabric. The leggings were really flattering and we tried a couple of different looks to test them out including with a baggy jumper and cropped t-shirt, and we decided they would be perfect with any casual or everyday look and could even be dressed up with a tunic top, although this is not my daughters style, but I was so impressed that I would also buy a pair for myself.

The leggings have double stitched seams which are smooth and great for anyone who has any sensory issues with seams on clothing. The waistband is deep which ensures they are super flattering for different body shapes and have a great fit. The length of the cropped leggings is also good. My daughter would usually need tall clothing due to her height, but despite the leggings being a standard fit, they finished mid-calf which was very flattering. My daughter reflected she would probably choose a full-length style usually but was pleased to have a shorter fit for the warm weather.

The leggings washed well and retained their shape and colour. Any item of clothing that can keep up with the demands of an active teenager is a winner in my book. I can see my daughter wearing these on a daily basis over the summer for leisure, PE at school as well as sports and exercise. They are a great all-round item that everyone needs in their wardrobe, regardless of age and we would highly recommend.

The Love Leggings website is really easy to navigate and I was also impressed to see a live chat assistance option, although I didn’t try this out on this occasion. There was a wide range of styles and colours that were available, and a range of fits to suit different body shapes. Love Leggings may well become my daughters and my favourite website for buying leggings. At £32 for this pair, they were great value for money and we would definitely buy them again. We have bought leggings from other popular online retailers in the past for almost double the cost and not been as happy with the quality, fit or style, so we would definitely recommend the Love Leggings.
