Juicy Lucy SPAMBURGER™ (serves 4)
Think of the juiciest, tastiest burger you can. Now think about the same burger, but with glorious grilled SPAM® slices covered in layers of melted Cheddar cheese. Who wouldn’t want to wrap their chops around this?
Ingredients
1 x 340g can SPAM Chopped Pork and Ham, sliced
4 x bread buns, lightly toasted
8 x cheese slices
Method
- Grill SPAM® slices, until golden
- Top one SPAM® slice with cheese slice and then the remaining SPAM® slice
- Assemble the burger with the grilled SPAM® and cheese slices and top with desired toppings e.g. grilled mushrooms, gherkin, peppers
Gyros SPAMBURGER™ (Serves 4)
Featuring cucumber, olives, tzatziki sauce and crumbled feta, this Gyro SPAMBURGER™ will bring a taste of Greece to your home.
Ingredients
1 x 340g can SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham (sliced)
4 x hamburger buns, split
Toppings: tomato slices, red onion slices, cucumber slices, kalamata olives, yellow peppers, crumbled feta
Method
- Prepare the grill or BBQ. Cut SPAM® into 4 slices. Grill, turning once for 5 to 7 minutes or until heated thoroughly
- Fill each bun with SPAM® slices and suggested toppings
SPAM® Korean BBQ Flavoured Burger (Serves 4)
Take your taste buds on a quick Asian journey with this comfort food favourite, upgrade with Korean barbeque sauce, kimchi and Sriracha mayo.
Ingredients
1 x 340g can SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham (sliced)
120g Korean barbeque sauce
4 x hamburger buns
70g shredded cabbage
45g chopped kimchi
1 x teaspoon rice vinegar
Sriracha mayo
Method
- Prepare grill. Cut SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham into 4 slices. Grill SPAM® slices turning once for 5 to 7 minutes or until heated thoroughly. Brush with Korean barbeque sauce
- In bowl, stir together cabbage, kimchi and vinegar. Spread Sriracha mayo on cut sides of buns. Fill each bun with SPAM® slices and cabbage mixture
