No outfit is complete without the right accessories. It can be a real centre point of even the plainest of outfits and give your look an edge that clothing alone can’t achieve. So, I was very happy to receive the Nina Necklace from Kasbahclothing.com; a great opportunity to ‘dress-up’ any outfit and feel a little bit special too. The necklace arrived well packaged, in a little organza bag and wrapped in tissue paper. As soon as I saw it I knew I’d like it! The Nina necklace is a really lovely statement piece. A short necklace that has a silver effect – although isn’t made of silver. This is a fashion necklace which is made up of a mixture of small and large hexagonal shapes that are inter-linked and hang beautifully around the neck. The rest of the chain is not too fine and is sturdy enough to last. The necklace is also available in a longer version if that is more your style.
The Nina necklace is very eye-catching and I decided to wear it against a plain black top, but it would be equally as lovely with a low-cut top also. For me, it did turn my quite plain-looking outfit into something a little special, I can’t lie; the jangling of the metal as I walked reminded me of the lovely piece I was wearing around my neck and was quite satisfying to hear. I actually wore this for a work meeting, and it got lots of complimentary comments. However, it could just as easily be worn on a night out or a special occasion to add create a more glamorous and stylish look.

The owner of Kasbah Clothing lives in Morocco; it’s easy to see the obvious Moroccan influence of the unusual pieces. The colours, vibrancy and interesting shapes and designs, result in a lovely collection of stand-out accessories. A great go-to website if you’re looking for something different from the common mass-produced jewellery that can be found on the high street here; something that is quite hard to come by nowadays.
I absolutely love this piece and would wear it again and again for a number of different occasions. It would also make a great gift with Christmas coming up and I think it would suit any age – from my teenage niece up to my great-auntie!
