I have to say that although I already use Lacura products on a regular basis, this little collection has completely bypassed me in my local store. I decided to use one product each day so as to evaluate each individually and was certainly not disappointed. It was a very enjoyable week.
Lacura Silicone Facial Cleanser. (rrp £9.99) Not just a cleanser but a facial massage at the same time. The cleanser has two sets of silicone tips; one for a basic cleanse, the other specifically for oily skin, a deeper cleanse and/or massage, for which there is a choice of 14 levels of intensity. A user-friendly manual fully explains use, maintenance, automatic switch off and recharging through a USB lead. Easy to use and suitable in a bath or shower this is a lovely alternative to the more usual methods of face cleansing.
Lacura New Mum Pamper Pack (rrp £4.99) Comprises a sleep mask, 100g bath brick, 50ml Shower Gel and 50ml moisturising body lotion. However, as lovely as this would be for a new mum, it is just as delightful to any mum who needs a bit of pampering. Everything you need in a box for an evening of selfish indulgence in the bathroom to ensure a good night’s rest. Each product is a delicate floral fragrance with the ability to hydrate and soften the skin.
Lacura Hot Cloth Cleanser Set (rrp £5.99) A collection suitable for all skin types, blended with care to cleanse and refresh. The set of four 75 ml tubes is accompanied by a muslin cloth to give a gentle exfoliation while enjoying the benefits of the product. The formulation of each cleanser gently removes make up to leave skin feeling smooth and refreshed. With extracts of cocoa butter, white tea, pink clay and vitamin E each product has its own particular strength so you can choose according to your mood, or the need of your skin.
Lacura Healthy Glow Acacia Collogen Toner (rrp £3.99) 250ml of delicately perfumed toner which is suitable for sensitive skin. Infused with coconut water and sea salt and Vitamin B5 to condition the skin, this toner is easily applied with a cotton pad with the benefit being felt in seconds. Skin immediately feels firmer yet soft with a healthy glow. This should be a firm favourite in any lady’s bathroom, as part of a skin care regime.
All of these products are freely available online through various outlets, usually at a higher price. This is not necessarily indicative of a better product. Whereas many people would shun what is considered to be a ‘value’ product in favour of a more well-known brand, maybe even preferring to purchase from the High Street or beauty counters, I believe any customer would be hard pushed to find a product of equal quality for these prices.
I for one will be looking out in my local store for more of these products with the expectation of more enjoyable pampering sessions.
