The Somerset Toiletry Co. Review

My little girl loves a bath bomb which can work out to be pretty expensive when she has a bath every night.

I saw that The Somerset Toiletry Co. had “bath fizzers” which come in cracker shaped package and contain 5 bath fizzers for £4.95. Great value to bring a treat to my daughter’s daily bath. They aren’t as exciting as the larger bath bombs you can buy but they subtly scent the water and are great value. They’d also make a great gift for Mother’s Day, birthdays or a Christmas stocking filler.

Along with the fizzers there are some other lovely gifts on the website. I chose the Lavender Room Diffuser (RRP: £11.95) and Aromas Artesanales De Antigua AAA Floral Foam Bath – Lavender (RRP: £3.95).

The diffuser came very well packaged with an attractive bottle and distinctive black reeds. As soon as I opened it the heady scent of lavender filled the air and even now, a week on, it’s the first thing to hit me when I walk in the living room. My one criticism of room diffusers is why is it so hard to buy refills? My cupboards are becoming full of small glass bottles and reeds where, unable to buy a refill, I buy, yet another, new diffuser. The Somerset Toiletry Company don’t currently offer refills, but I hope they will soon.

The Lavender Foam Bath smelled just as heavenly as the fizzers and the diffuser. It came in an, expensive looking, square shaped bottle and once poured under warm water filled the bath with fragrant soft bubbles. The lavender scent is so relaxing and when my daughter had it in her bath the subsequent bedtime was a dream as she quickly headed off the sleep.

I was really pleased to see that The Somerset Toiletry Co.’s products are all completely free from SLS and Parabens and use natural ingredients as well as not being tested on animals.
