When you are moving your home, it is important to remember that it is not only the actual house that you are moving, but it is also the area. Moving to a whole new area can be something that is so scary. To make it a bit easier for yourself, you should pay a lot of attention to what is around your new house. There are certain things that are just necessities! Have a look here at what you should make sure you have local to you:
Firstly, one of the things that you will need on a daily basis is shops. You’ll want to make sure that you have an excellent local shop that you can walk to everyday, this should be no more than a five minutes walk away. Realistically, you won’t want to walk any more than that if it is just to grab some milk. Also regarding shops, you will want a big supermarket pretty close to you as well, a place to do your weekly shop. Ideally, this will be walkable by no more than twenty minutes so that you do have the option of walking, but it is more likely that you would drive this far as you would have a lot of shopping with you! Also, in terms of shops, an excellent high street would be lovely, not quite as important as food, but to be able to do a little bit of other shopping would never go amiss.
Secondly, another thing that is important to the enjoyability of a new home is it has great places to eat out. You’re going to want to see if this new location has got some good restaurants at a walk away (for nights you want to drink) and some a short drive away. You’ll also want to check that cafes and pubs and bars, you want to enjoy and make the very most of the place that you live in!
Also, you will want to ensure that you have access to lots of the essential things, this includes, hospital, doctor’s office, chiropractor‘s office, specialist physicians, dentists, sports therapy facility as well as any others that directly apply to you. This is very important that you have these things close to you because if there was ever a need for them, you want to make sure that you have easy and direct access to them without having to travel really far.
Also very importantly, you will want to make sure that you are in a great place for some beautiful places you can have a good day out, it would be great to be near some woods to be able to go on walks or big fields to take the dog, should you have one. As well as a lovely local park that is very safe for the kids to go to. You will be very thankful for that park when summer rolls around, and you are after a place to have a nice picnic and enjoy the sun!
