My three year old granddaughter and I absolutely love the Bafta award winning Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom children’s TV series, so we were delighted to get the chance to review this lovely book. It is a sturdy board book, ideal for toddlers and is full of beautiful illustrations. It comes complete with a sparkly magic wand which we could wave along to cast spells as we read the story.

Holly is a young fairy princess who lives in the Little Kingdom with her best friend Ben Elf. Nanny Plum has to teach Holly and her friends the five fairy rules and as usual there are mishaps and lots of fun along the way.

We had great fun waving our wands and turning each other into frogs!

This book would make a perfect Christmas or birthday gift for all budding fairies or princesses.
