Bottle Light Review

Reviewed by Nia Lock
The bottle light from Prezzybox turns empty bottles into lamps and is the perfect gift for someone who has everything. I now have a use for all those unusually shaped bottles that I’ve been hoarding.
The packaging was nice and sturdy and looked appealing but I was able to open it without the use of scissors and therefore without getting off the sofa, handy.
Once opened, I found myself wondering why nobody had thought of this before now. Surprisingly small and neat the bottle light is very simple to operate with just a twist to switch it on and off and is bright enough to make even a coloured glass bottle shine pleasingly. It just looks like a normal cork or stopper once you’ve dropped it into the top of your bottle and the tapered shape means it fits into different sized bottles without issue. I love being able to recharge it using the convenient USB plug although it shone brightly for at least four hours before I noticed it was looking dim. Once plugged in to charge it has a red light which goes out once it’s ready to use again. It hardly took any time to recharge when plugged into my laptop, when I looked at it a couple of hours later it was ready to use (1 hour charge gives 3 hours of light).
This is a good quality gift, it has real novelty value without the feel of a novelty item. I have enjoyed the bottle light and I expect to get much use out of it.
