A suitable highchair is so important it’s an essential baby item from 6 months onwards, I know now from experience it is something worth investing in. I didn’t give my previous highchair any thought and soon realised it didn’t suit our little ones’ needs and storing it when it wasn’t in use caused chaos in the kitchen and frustrated others by being in the way or blocking exits

I was very excited about the arrival of the Graco Snackease highchair, I was drawn especially to the space-saving element the compact free-standing storage along with an array of other excellent features. I couldn’t wait to cook something for the family having a safe space for our baby girl to eat.

The Highchair arrived via next-day courier in a nice sturdy compact retail box with no unnecessary packaging which is great for the environment.  The baby and cat have enjoyed playing in the box too little bonus. Upon opening the box there was a little bit of assembly, just slotting in the 4 legs and the leg separator horn on the tray, this piece slots in and stays but has an additional screw for security.

Weighing in at 6.3kg the highchair is lightweight and opens and closes with ease my kids say it glides around our kitchen.

Suitable from 6 months to approx 3 years (15kg max).  The highchair comes in the colour option named Organza, it is a nice unisex pattern in some neutral shades to complement any kitchen deco.

Designed to grow with your child from baby to toddler this highchair sports a padded spacious seat for optimal comfort along with 3 positions to support their growing needs standard upright and 2 reclines.  For added security, the highchair has antislip feet and a 3 or 5-point harness which is excellent as my little lady at 9 months appears to be a budding Houdini.

The fabric wipes down nice and easily and passed the Bolognese sauce test so far it hasn’t stained, the straps appear to be easy to remove and are currently in the washer. I found the seat caught a lot of food baby dropped, however it was simple to clean away. Remember to check the nooks and creases for bits of food.

The tray of the highchair slots on and has 3 positions and a cup holder to save those spills. It’s a decent size tray that fits by pressing the side clips and adjusting to the desired position. When not in use it clips on the back legs, initially this can be awkward to do but when you have the knack it is easy.

Another nice addition is the storage basket under the seat, which makes for simple storage for bibs, plates, and bits to be stored in. This slides on and off with loops.

The single-handed closure is my absolute favourite as it is so easy you pull the fabric strap in the centre of the seat and the whole thing collapses. This simple manoeuvre is genius and I love it.

This highchair is utterly brilliant I can’t fault it. I lack space in my kitchen for storing a highchair so this is just brilliant and fits my kitchen well. I can fit it into a few spaces and it makes a world of difference in that it stores free-standing and I can slide it about.

All needs have been met this is a great piece of equipment a definite winner in my eyes.
